Phone Co-op is Ten Years Old

I was interested to see a flyer in my phone bill this morning for The Phone Co-op's tenth anniversery party. To celebrate ten years of co-operatively provided telecom services (first to charities and social enterprises - then to individuals as well), they're holding a do at Chipping Norton Lido (a community-owned social enterprise) for their members with swimming, food and music. Sadly, I'm unable to go - bizarrely because of an international croquet commitment - which is a real shame.

You know, my parents have been customers of BT since 1981, and NOT ONCE have they been invited to a party of any kind! Just goes to show how special Co-operatives are...
