Don't Forget the Members' Meeting
Just a reminder that the AGM of the central and Eastern region of the Co-operative Group is on Saturday, starting at 11am at the Kettering Conference Centre. This is open to all Co-op Group members in the region- and so any Co-op Group members in the Cambridge area will be most welcome to attend. There is a bus going from Cambridge train station at 9:15, although this might now be full - check with regional office on 01908 843208.
The AGM is one of only two meetings open to members each year, when they can recieve information on the performance of their Society, and hold their elected representatives to account. Afternoon sessions will again be less formal, and include topics such as food retail, ethics, our banking and insurance businesses, and healthy eating.
It would be great to see you there. If you'd like to say hello, I'll be the one with a beard, who looks a bit younger than most of the other attendees!

I've recycled your description of the AGM on my site. There are other less formal meetings for members - I think you've posted about Ripple Effect before.
That's a good point - there are quite a few membership events during the year that I blog about. "Formal" business meetings are the ones that I was thinking of.
